I haven’t done a ‘5 to Try’ in a long time and I’m so excited to share these new finds with you! I’ve been testing them out for a while and making sure that before I share them with you, I really love them! I’ve linked all the products so you can click and view them for yourself, if not, pop into any beauty store!
I’ve been using the same Garnier creams for a while and I felt like it was time for something new. I decided to try out the Olay range after hearing that it was good and I’ve been loving it so far. Its good for combination skin as it’s hydrating enough for the dry patches I have. It also doesn’t leave my skin with a shiny residue which is always great! In terms of results, they are doing a lot more than my Garnier ones as it’s made my skin smoother and more hydrating. It’s also great to travel with as it’s under the 100ml limit!
Many beauty bloggers and beauty lovers swear by a primer but I haven’t used one since my Tarte primer finished. On a recent trip snooping around Space NK I came across the Caudelie Beauty Elixir. I decided to purchase the small bottle and I am literally obsessed! I use it on days where I’m not wearing anything or after applying my make up. Honestly, it minimises my pores like never before and it smells as if you’ve walked into a spa! You NEED this in your collection!
I think my dark circles have come out in full force over the last month and I needed something with high coverage. Enter Urban Decay Skin concealer. There are days when I use it alone and blend it around the eye area and it doesn’t look odd. Sometimes this mama has no time for make up! This is by far the most high coverage concealer and it works miracles + it’s even better with a setting powder!
Speaking of setting powders, I decided to use baby powder after seeing it used as a beauty “hack” on YouTube. If applied correctly it doesn’t look too cake-y or leave a white mask on the areas you apply it. I don’t always do this, but when I do, it really does work!
Finally, I have been loving my Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume for the summer. It’s fresh, it’s light and can we talk about the packaging?! Loveee! It’s right up my street when it comes to a nice and girly fragrance for the daytime. I’m thinking of doing a perfume collection? Hmm!
I hope you enjoyed reading another ‘5 To Try’ with my skincare and beauty favourites. As the weather is going to be changing up I’m sure I’ll pick up some hydrating products to keep my skin from going too dry! So keep an eye out for the next one! Be sure to check out some of my other favourites by clicking here.
I would love for you to leave any comments about what you’ve been loving so far!
