How am I already celebrating my 25th birthday?! Time has flown by so quick it’s hard to believe it! Just like everyone else I always reflect on the past year and think about what’s to come. What new goals I want to set for myself and what I would like to achieve. So much has happened in the last year that I’m so grateful for everything, so here’s to another year!
My 25th Birthday
It’s been a year to remember, not only was I pregnant during my last birthday but we welcomed Isabella! It also hasn’t been easy on a more personal level with lessons learnt along the way. It’s been a year for me to grow in all areas of my life.
I was lucky enough to go to Disneyland Paris for my 24th birthday and had a blast! We had our babymoon in Greece and managed to get lost in the mountains with just a map and locals to help us. We bought our first car and drove to Amsterdam for the first time to visit family.
I was able to start off my blog again and work hard towards creating a platform. I had a year filled with up’s and downs but they each brought a lesson. However, the highlight of my 24th year has to be the day Isabella was born. With her I’ve celebrated my first Mother’s Day, we celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary and travelled on our first family trip!
Having Isabella has taught me a lot and I will forever be grateful for her little life. I’ve become a more confident and happier person because of her. I’m thankful for my portion because this is exactly what God knows I need. I’ve learnt to believe and have faith that He is in control and everything else will fall into place. This year I set myself goals that I want to accomplish, with my career, my blog and myself.
Every setback has a comeback
I think one thing we should always remember is that it’s never too late to start something new. It’s never too late to build new friendships or to start your career because everyday is a fresh new start!
From a karaoke night (so much fun!) to chocolate cakes and cuddles with the cutest baby ever, I’m content with this years celebrations. I’m grateful to be celebrating my 25th birthday with people who love me and want the best for me. Here’s to my 25th year and all the adventures it’ll bring!
